Last updated: October 21, 2026
1. Who We Are
Rhodesian Heritage Apparel ("we," "us," or "our") is an apparel business based in Massachusetts, United States.
We operate the website rhodesianheritageapparel.com.
We respect your privacy and are committed to explaining how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information.
For questions or requests concerning your personal information, please contact:
contact@
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through our website, product waitlist, and related email communications.
2. Information We Collect
Our waitlist signup form is hosted by Brevo and embedded in our website. Information you submit through the form is sent directly to Brevo to process your waitlist registration and manage your email subscriptions.
Joining the first-release rugby jersey waitlist requires an email address, preferred rugby jersey size, country of residence, and consent to receive first-release updates. We collect:
- Email address: To send information about our first product release.
- Preferred rugby jersey size: To estimate demand and help plan production quantities.
- Country of residence: To understand customer interest by location and plan potential shipping arrangements.
- Email preferences: To record your consent to first-release updates and whether you have separately opted in to future product announcements, restocks, promotions, and other marketing communications.
- Signup information: The date and time of registration and records associated with your subscription preferences.
We or our service providers may also process limited technical information, including IP addresses, browser information, and security-related activity, where necessary to operate and protect the website.
Contacting us may create correspondence records, including your email address, message contents, and records of our response, to help us answer your inquiry or handle your privacy request.
We ask that you do not submit sensitive personal information through our waitlist.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- Managing our product waitlist.
- Notifying subscribers about the availability, launch, and ordering of our first rugby jersey.
- Estimating demand for different clothing sizes.
- Evaluating interest from domestic and international markets.
- Planning production quantities and potential shipping arrangements.
- Sending future product announcements, restock notices, and promotional offers when you have separately opted in.
- Responding to questions and privacy requests.
- Maintaining website functionality, preventing abuse, and protecting our systems.
- Complying with applicable legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent our mailing lists or personal information to advertisers or data brokers.
Joining the waitlist does not constitute a purchase, guarantee product availability, or reserve a jersey.
4. Legal Bases for Processing
Where laws such as the United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) or European Union General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) apply, we rely on appropriate legal bases for processing personal information.
These may include:
Consent: When you voluntarily subscribe to product-release notifications or separately choose to receive future marketing communications.
Legitimate interests: Where appropriate and permitted by law, to maintain website security, prevent misuse, respond to inquiries, and plan business operations.
Legal obligations: When processing is necessary to comply with applicable laws or regulatory requirements.
You may withdraw consent to email communications at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn.
5. Waitlist and Email Communications
Our waitlist is intended to keep interested customers informed about our first product release.
By submitting the waitlist form, you request email communications related to that release. Brevo sends an email confirmation request, and you must confirm your email address to activate your subscription. Brevo may process and store pending registrations before confirmation.
You may separately choose to receive emails concerning future products, restocks, special offers, and other Rhodesian Heritage Apparel announcements.
This additional marketing subscription is optional and is not required to join the initial waitlist.
We will not treat a subscription to the initial product waitlist as automatic consent to unrelated future marketing. Confirming your email address does not automatically grant consent to future promotions; those emails require your separate, optional consent.
Our release updates and promotional emails will provide a way to unsubscribe, and you may also request removal by contacting contact@
Unsubscribing stops the applicable release updates or promotional emails. Depending on how the unsubscribe link is configured, it may stop both categories. If you wish to change only one category, please contact us for help with your subscription preferences. Unsubscribing does not prevent necessary responses to privacy inquiries.
We maintain records of subscription preferences to help respect your choices.
Brevo may track email opens and link clicks associated with individual subscribers to help us understand interest, evaluate our communications, and plan product releases. This tracking is not anonymous.
6. Sharing Information With Service Providers
We use third-party providers to operate our website, maintain subscriber information, and deliver communications.
Our intended service providers include:
Cloudflare: Website hosting and security services.
Brevo: Hosting the signup form, processing and storing waitlist registrations, managing email subscriptions and preference records, and delivering release updates and optional marketing communications.
These providers may process personal information on our behalf to deliver their services.
We may also disclose information when required by applicable law, to respond to lawful requests, or to protect our rights and the security of our services.
We do not authorize service providers to use our subscriber information for their own unrelated marketing purposes.
7. International Data Transfers
Rhodesian Heritage Apparel operates from the United States and may receive information from visitors in other countries.
Personal information may be processed or stored in the United States or in other locations where our service providers operate.
Brevo and its service providers may process subscriber information internationally, including outside the European Economic Area. Brevo documents safeguards for international transfers, including Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures, and may rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for applicable transfers to the United States while that framework remains valid. Further details are available in Brevo's Data Processing Agreement.
Where applicable data protection laws require additional safeguards for international transfers, we will use appropriate mechanisms or safeguards as required by those laws.
8. How Long We Keep Information
We retain waitlist information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy.
Our intended retention practices are:
- First-release waitlist information: Retained through the initial release and for up to 12 months afterward. Records no longer needed for that purpose will be reviewed and removed, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.
- Ongoing marketing subscribers: Separately authorized subscriptions for future products and promotions may continue after first-release records are removed. Information needed for those subscriptions is retained while the subscription remains active or until consent is withdrawn, subject to periodic review.
- Unsubscription and consent records: Limited suppression records may be retained to honor unsubscribes and prevent unwanted communications, along with consent records reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance.
- Privacy requests and security records: Retained as necessary to respond to requests, maintain security, and satisfy applicable legal obligations.
We review records and remove information that is no longer needed, subject to applicable retention requirements. Deletion is not automatic.
